What's SEO?.SEO means search engine optimization.What should we do so that if anyone searches anything on Google,he get best results.To explain this let me go backwards.What was there earlier it was YAHOO,everyone searches via yahoo.But gradually Google gained market share,they used brain and used a basic strategy to make the product simple that is here search area is very broad compared to yahoo.So if you have to search any word use google. Example if i have to search the best company in new Delhi. There is an alogorithm involved that provides the best results. SEO is of two types:
1) ON-PAGE OPTIMIZATION
2)OFF-PAGE OPTIMIZATION
First let us talk about on-page optimization.On page means what exacty your website has?If i look at it,What do i get it?Google has its own crawlers. Crawlers explaination-
Whenever we register our website with google,there is a crawler of google that keeps on searching inside google about the link.Suppose crawler opens your fb page and opens any link in it so it will automatically move to the link.This is we called indexing. Suppose there is a popular website of cars and the owner has mentioned that Eg. Dinesh Garg is a good mechanic of cars.So crawler will inspect about Dinesh there.Suppose there are many sites claiming the same thing about Dinesh so crawler would easily authenticate data about Dinesh Garg. One thing here most important is keyword research.
Suppose you sell shoes in the market,and you have made your website and sell your shoes.You want that the traffic should be related to the shoes only and not any other product.Can your website compete with Amazon and Flipkart. For that you will go to Keyword Planner Tool that comes under Google Adwords. Adwords will tell you exactly the right keywords people use.Suppose your target is red buckle shoes so you need to mention on your site about red buckle shoes.So that crawler can easily find.Also the content of your website should be unique and of value addition.Google also checks other parameters if it finds the same keywords used.Like the title of your website.On page optimization is very important and is very important for website ranking.
Never go for black hat seo, always use white hat seo. Now we will talk about Off page optimization which is only 20% important compared to on page optimization.Here directory submission is important.
Strategy: fill all the directories with your personal details.List your business in the business directories like about,address,contact,etc of the business.Next is blog posting you need to give value addition.Suppose there is a bodybuilding website so request them to feature your blog in their website.This will help in google ranking.You can use social media marketing.Suppose you have a fb page and you have posted your links to promote on fb page and also personal details so you will gain some traffic there also beacuse of google crawler.
